About Me

My name is Noushin Rajabalinia (she/her), and I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. I joined Queen’s in April 2023, where I lead research on polymerization kinetics and reaction engineering. My work focuses on advancing industrial polymerization processes and mentoring students at various academic levels.

I hold a PhD in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials from the University of the Basque Country, Spain, and have extensive experience in polymer chemistry, polymerization processes, and the synthesis and characterization of advanced polymeric materials. I am passionate about driving collaborative projects and bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Originally from Urmia, Iran, I have had the privilege of working and studying in various international settings, from Spain to Canada and Germany. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy baking, knitting, and exploring new cultures and environments. Traveling to different countries is one of my greatest passions, as it allows me to experience diverse perspectives and connect with people from all walks of life.
