About Me
Hi! I am Adesuwa (Faith) Oni (she/her), a Ph.D. student in Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University, working under the supervision of Prof. Kimberley McAuley. My research focuses on modeling a heat-integrated biomass downdraft gasifier and estimating key model parameters. I am passionate about sustainability and innovation in clean energy, sustainable fuels, chemical environmental remediation, and waste conversion.

I recently joined Q-ACS as an associate member and am excited to engage in the chapter’s activities. I believe in fostering collaboration within the chemical sciences community and leveraging opportunities to expand both my professional and academic horizons.

Originally from Nigeria, I earned my master's degree in chemical engineering and conducted research in environmental remediation and sustainable fuel development. Outside the lab, I am a dedicated gospel minister who loves singing. When I’m not working on my research, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children and discovering new ways to merge my scientific interests with community impact.
