Q-ACS is opening nominations for the 2026 American Chemical Society Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Chemical Safety and Ethics, which recognizes a senior undergraduate student in the chemical profession who has demonstrated the intersectionality between chemical safety and ethical behaviour.

About the event

The Queen’s International Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society (Q-ACS) is opening nominations for the 2026 American Chemical Society Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Chemical Safety and Ethics. This award recognizes a senior undergraduate student (3rd or 4th year, including accelerated master’s students in their 4th year of undergraduate studies) in the chemical profession who has actively demonstrated the intersectionality between chemical safety and ethical behaviour. 

 

As an international Chapter, Q-ACS can nominate one student for this award. Please complete the following form (see link below) to nominate an undergraduate student who has actively demonstrated the connection between chemical safety and ethics through behaviour and schoolwork. Self-nominations are also encouraged!  Note: Only ONE nomination will be accepted per individual. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, May 8th @ 11:59 PM EDT.
