Q-ACS Selected as an Outstanding Student Chapter

Per ACS requirements, ACS Student Chapters, both domestic and international, are required to submit a Chapter Report at least once every three years in order maintain status as an active Student Chapter. In May 2023, Q-ACS submitted its first International Student Chapter Report, and after only one year of operations, Q-ACS was delighted to learn later that Fall 2023 that the Chapter had been designated as an Outstanding Student Chapter among the 2023 submissions. For the 2022-2023 academic year during which Q-ACS applied, the ACS Society Committee on Education (SOCED) awarded 71 chapters outstanding, 122 chapters commendable, and 135 chapters honorable mention. Chapters that do not qualify for these awards receive a certificate of achievement for meritorious service.
