My name is Farnaz Heidar-Zadeh (she/her/hers), and I am an Assistant Professor in theoretical and computational chemistry. As the faculty advisor of Q-ACS, I have had the privilege of supporting our outstanding students and postdocs who are committed to making a difference.

I am Iranian-Canadian and my academic and professional career across multiple countries has not only broadened my perspective and expanded my network, but also fuels my commitment to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive community within Q-ACS. Our mission is to promote and empower students, researchers, staff, and faculty, cultivating an environment where everyone can thrive.
