ACS Historic Chemical International Landmark Ceremony: Dr. Alfred R. Bader & Sigma-Aldrich

On May 7, with the support of Dan Bader and Dr. Rigoberto Hernandez, Q-ACS proudly unveiled the new American Chemical Society International Historic Chemical Landmark honouring the legacy of Alfred Bader and his profound contributions to the chemical sciences community. As the first ACS Landmark designated in Canada in more than 20 years, this recognition marked a significant milestone for both the scientific community at Queen's University and the country as a whole.

Q-ACS is deeply grateful to everyone whose hard work and dedication made this event possible. It was an honour to celebrate Dr. Alfred Bader’s enduring impact on Queen’s University, the chemical sciences, and the broader global community.
