Q-ACS - Two Chapter Awards

The Queen’s University International Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society (Q-ACS) has been recognized for the third consecutive year with an Outstanding Student Chapter Award and for the first time has also received a Green Chemistry Student Chapter Award, reflecting our commitments to community engagement and sustainability. These awards highlight our efforts in supporting professional/technical development and integrating green chemistry principles into activities, events, and initiatives.

This year, the American Chemical Society recognized 90 Outstanding Chapters, 166 Commendable Chapters, 119 Honorable Mentions, and 33 Green Chemistry Award recipients, placing Q-ACS among a select group of Chapters worldwide achieving excellence in both traditional and sustainability-focused measures. We are grateful to all our members, collaborators, and supporters who make these student-led accomplishments possible.
