Q-ACS is delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the deserving recipients of our recognition programs! We are immensely proud to honor the remarkable contributions of Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, and Postdoctoral Scholars in key areas of leadership.
The first recognition program, the ACS Graduate Student & Postdoctoral Scholar Recognition Program (GSPSRP), highlighted individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership. Awards were presented to those excelling in Leadership in Mentoring: Neil Grenade (Graduate Student) and Dr. Maria Cleveland (Postdoctoral Scholar); Leadership in the Promotion of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect (DEIR): Dana Nanan (Graduate Student); and Leadership in Research Safety: Fateme Rezagholizade (Graduate Student).
The second program, the Q-ACS Excellence Awards, recognized those who have made outstanding contributions in various areas. Awardees included those demonstrating Leadership in Diversity, Inclusion, and Respect (DEIR): Tessa Sashun Erickson (Undergraduate Student); Excellence in 4th-Year Project Mentoring: Zhenyu Hu (Graduate Student), Dr. Lenka Vítková (Postdoctoral Scholar); and Excellence in Collaboration and Cross-disciplinarity: Alex Redmond MacDonald (Graduate Student) and Dr. Noushin Rajabalinia (Postdoctoral Scholar).
