Q-ACS hosts the ACS Career Kick-Starter Workshop for the first time in Canada!

Beginning in Fall 2022, Q-ACS partnered with the Science-to-Business Network – Kingston Section (S2BN-K) to co-host the official in-person, two-day ACS Career Kick-Starter Workshop (CKSW) for the first time in Canada in June 2023. The CKSW, led by ACS Fellow Dr. Ajay Mallia, addressed the challenges of transitioning from graduate school to a successful career. Attendees gained insights into resume building, job searching strategies, and interview preparation, boosting their confidence to navigate the professional world.
